Ogundium is the name given to a dense, iron-based alloy that is virtually indestructible and is capable of absorbing and redirecting vast amounts of energy. The base for this alloy is an extremely rare ore found only in Mount Kenya and when combinded with titanium and an as yet undisclosed chemical, the metallic alloy refined from this is called Ogundium. The ore was discovered as a result of Operation Paperclip when Dr. Erik Drache requested it in order to continue his research on rare crystaline gems, called Blue Almasi, also found in Mount Kenya. Ogundium has unique properties which allow it to generate and/or absorb vast amounts of energy, under certain circumstances. When combined wth molten Blue Almasi, spidergoat silk, an unnmaed ceramic-like substance and inscribed with specific alchemical symbols, it forms a completely indestructible material which can be woven into fabric and displays uncanny mystical properties. Ogundium can also be used as in the creation of electronics as an inpenetrable chassis, conductive material and as an independent power source. The creation of even a small amounts of Ogundum is extremely tedius and astronomically expensive. While G.E.N.E.S.I.S. maintains the most complete research and data available on the formula and the exact proceedure for its manufacture, certain parties within the terrorist commnunity, such as CABAL, have access to it as well. Ogundium is created primarily by mixing certain chemicals together with the unique ore and titanium. The exact composition of these chemicals is closely guarded by G.E.N.E.S.I.S. and although criminal and terrorist elements have illegally obtained access to the alloy, the exact refining process remains almost solely with G.E.N.E.S.I.S. (the exception being Drache, who closely guards it as well). When these raw ore and chemical mixture is heated to about temperature of 3,000 degrees Fahrenheit, the resulting liquid can be cast or worked into any particular shape imaginable. After it cools, the alloy sets and becomes solid. While its dense molecular structure is extremely stable, its shape can only be altered by precise molecular rearrangement, which only a device such as a God Particle Disruptor is capable of doing.
Background Information[]
The alloy got its name from the Progeny named Ogun, who was worshiped as one of Orishas, a group of African gods. Professor Creflo Franklin began experimenting with various ores and advanced refining processes following World War II at his privately owned, metal working company named Komas Metalworks. Franklin was a pioneer in metalurgy and the manufacture of industrial materials. Due to the racial divide in the United States during this time, he entrusted his caucasian friend and business partner, Alexander Komas to be the front man, while he worked behind the scenes, hence the company being named Komas Metalworks. Eventually, Komas became obsessed with the idea of controlling which direction the company moved in and wanted to out Franklin, but he had no claim to the patents which were responsilble for the comany's success. Because of this, Komas was bought out by an anonymous source and himself ousted from the company, which later took on the name Franklin Metalworks. In the early 1970's, while working with the United States goverment on a secret project, directly tied to Operation Paperclip, Franklin sought out the rare ore which Drache described and with his assistance, used it to create an indestructible alloy which would become known as Ogundium.

Ogundium ore is an extremely rare element that possesses unique attributes. When combined with titanium steel and an unknown chemical compound, ogundium forms a solid metallic alloy that is stronger than titanium steel and less than a third of the weight, as well as being completely vibration and kinetic energy absorbent. This makes the material virtually indestructible.
